Thesis breakdown
Here are the different constituting parts of what our school considers as an acceptable thesis.
- Introduction: You must explain here what leaded you to that peculiar topic, and why you feel it needs to be written in depth.
- Statement of the hypothesis: This first chapter calls for an exposé of what you intend to prove or demonstrate in the course of your work, as the premises of what is upcoming.
- Literature cross-references: Here you provide and discuss the literary theoretical inspiration for your subject, as well as the possible future developments regarding it.
- Clinical cross-references: Again you must correlate your basic ideas with real-life cases, from various studies or personal practice.
- Thesis rephrasement: In the light of the previous parts, is there a need to rephrase your initial hypothesis ? If not, explain how the subject of this doctoral thesis could be positive to society and also how to apply it successfully
- Conclusion: You briefly review here your dissertation, opening doors for other possible researches that could be carry on similarly.
Of course, we strongly recommend that you do select a topic in which you already have some knowledge or particular interest. By doing so, it will help to remain highly motivated from the beginning till the end.
